Important actor for competence supply
Malmö University annually trains more than 25,000 students in society-supporting professions and academic subjects that stimulate innovative social development. More often than the national average, our students come from homes without an academic tradition. They apply to a young and modern university with a desire to contribute to a sustainable and equal society.
Student and alumni
Dental Student of the Year 2022

Matin Farzad is in his final semester of the dentistry programme and was named Dental Student of the Year 2022. Matin's curiosity about the profession was sparked by the dentists in his family. The profession ticked several boxes for him, such as being able to apply his interest in medicine and problem solving, so he decided to give it a chance.
The surfing software expert

In 2000, when Aleksandar Rodzevski was in his second year of studying computer and electrical engineering at Malmö University, the dot come bubble burst. The industry collapsed and several of his classmates dropped out. Over 20 years later, he works as a software manager for the Malmö company Radinn, which manufactures electric surfboards.

Even as a child, Isabelle Liljekvist Bjers taught her newfound knowledge from school to her younger siblings. Being a teacher and an important part of many children's lives comes naturally to her and in painting and photography, Isabelle has found how to express herself creatively.
