WORKSHOPS FOR PHD STUDENTS | Workshop
Wednesday 10 November, 13:00 - 14:00
How to find the right journal for your research
Finding relevant journals can be challenging for researchers both new and experienced. Would you like to learn more about how to find qualitative journals in your research field? In this workshop, you send in your preliminary title of your article together with the name of the journal or publisher that you have in mind a week before we meet. The librarian will prepare some options to discuss. We will then meet in a workshop format, looking at the different tools that can be of use when choosing journal for publication (or publisher for your book chapter).
The workshop is for doctoral students and researchers from all faculties.
The workshop will also include information on publication strategy and publishing choices. Together, we identify how this can influence impact, accessibility and dissemination of your research. Session activities will include a mix of lectures, discussions and hands-on exercises.
