Presentation

Cecilia Olsson Jers is a PhD in Research education in Swedish and Didactics. She is especially interested in language usage, verbal interaction and rhetoric. Her doctoral thesis is entitled “The classroom as a verbal arena: building and establishing ethos”, with the aim to study how students build ethos. Her thesis is preceded by a research paper, entitled "Response as the Teacher´s Responsibility", investigating teachers’ spoken response to oral presentations.
