- Therese Hellberg
Therese Hellberg is a doctoral student in Media and communication studies. She is a participant in the research project "Serving the nation? Preparedness, welfare state, gender, and national identity in 1940s Swedish fiction". Her doctoral project is focusing on the welfare state as depicted in Swedish texts published between 1940–1955, e.g., how modernity, motherhood, labour, sexuality and citizenship are discussed in fictional and nonfictional prose. The texts are also analyzed with regard to how they are discussing living conditions and autonomy related to gender, class and othering.
