About the course

The course presents current themes in the field of international migration connected to citizenship issues and political incorporation of immigrants and ethnic minorities in receiving societies. Theories of international migration and theories of political integration as well as current issues around migration and citizenship policies and their consequences will be dealt with from various social sciences disciplines. The student will be given a chance to critically read and discuss current research.

Bachelor degree in social sciences or humanities + the equivalent of English course B.

Course literature

Course evaluation

All students are offered an opportunity to give oral or written feedback at the end of the course. A summary of the results will be made available. The students are also given a possibility to offer feedback through the course council.
