Presentation

I am associate professor and senior lecturer in political science at the Department of Global Political Studies (GPS), researcher at the Malmö Institute for Studies of Migration, Diversity and Welfare (MIM), and head of the master's programs in International Migration and Ethnic Relations (IMER). Min main research interest is citizenship with respect to a variety of thematic perspectives: migration and integration, national and postnational, diversity and multiculturalism, schooling and education. I also have a long standing interest in toleration, liberalism and neorepublican theory. In recent years, I have also published a little on free speech and political correctness, and on Scandinavian migration and integration policy. Politico-theoretical questions and approaches dominate in most of the stuff I do, often in combination with case studies.
