Martin Lund is senior lecturer/assistant professior in religious studies and unsalaried reader/associate professor in history of religions at Lund University. He graduated from Lund University in 2013 with a dissertation on formations of identity in USAmerican mainstream comics by Jewish-American writers.

His teaching includes Christianity in history and the present, religion and politics, religion and mass media and popular culture, global ethics, and racism.

His research mostly revolves around comics in relation to different forms of religion, identity, space and place, as well as racism and whiteness.
