The Knowledge Centre for Educational Health in Schools collects and develops research on educational health for schools, public authorities and teacher training programmes.
About the Centre
The Centre aims to strengthen knowledge of how schools can adopt preventive and health-promoting approaches. By gathering, developing and disseminating research, the Centre seeks to ensure that relevant knowledge reaches schools, teacher education programmes, public authorities and other organisations working with children and young people.
The Centre aims to:
Gather, make accessible and disseminate national and international research on the health of children and young people.
Conduct research addressing identified knowledge gaps in educational health.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate new knowledge into school practice.
Share knowledge about educational health with teacher education and other programmes that prepare professionals to work with children and young people.
