Transport Studies
Transport Studies investigate the importance, relevance and impact of freight and passenger transport on enterprises and urban-regional development.
There is a correlation between transports and real estate and this correlation is explored and investigated in projects which investigate:
- the development and the interrelated impact of accessibility
- the mobility for individuals to move between everyday activities
- freight transports and the organisations of businesses
Business models and strategies are other perspectives; the development of research in transport and real estate investigate the development of business models to identify costs, revenues and added value to customers and suppliers within the estates of logistics.
Urban Studies has its basis in subjects like:
- Economic Geography
- Property Economics
- Management
- Economics
- Transport economics
