Research

Helena Bohman has a PhD in economics from Jönköping International Business School and my research interests are within urban and regional economics. Her research includes studies on the effects of infrastructure investments and is associated researcher to K2 The Swedish Knowledge Centre for Public Transport. A lot of her work also refers to distributional and inequality issues in urban and regional development, both in terms of income distribution and geographical distribution. She works primarily with quantitative methods such as spatial econometrics, GIS, but has an interest in mixed methods. She is a member of the research group Urban Business and Development.

Teaching

Helena Bohman teaches at, and is programme coordinator of, the two-year international master's programme Urban Business and Development - Real Estate and Transport and is active in the ASSURE research school . She also teaches at several of the undergraduate programs, but primarily at the programmes of real estate.
