Trial period 18 September to 18 October 2024

Scopus is Elsevier's abstract and citation database, for which an add-on using generative AI, Scopus AI, has been developed. Scopus AI is based on the use of natural language, meaning that you can write your questions or hypotheses in normal language, regardless of keywords or Boolean operators.

Based on the question or hypothesis you entered, Scopus AI searches for publications published since 2003, with reference to earlier-released foundational documents as well.

Questions in Scopus AI may also be asked in Swedish and other languages than English.
The summary includes references to reference articles found in the Scopus database.
In case you want more in-depth knowledge, you can continue exploring with the help of an extended summary, concept map, basic publications in the research area, and expert sections on the subject.

Malmö University Library has arranged a four-week trial period for testing the Scopus AI tool.

You can check out Scopus AI directly from the Scopus.com homepage.
