Presentation
John Stigmar is a lecturer in the Department of Social Work at Malmö University. He has a professional background in recovery-oriented practice, supporting people experiencing mental health problems. His main research and teaching interests include applied phenomenology, phenomenology of empathy, social psychiatry, and recovery in/with mental health problems. He works extensively with conversation training (phenomenological empathy training), professional practice, and relational social work.
