The Gender Research Group is an interdisciplinary forum where researchers, lecturers and doctoral students come together to explore and develop knowledge on gender issues. Through seminars, research collaborations and national and international networks, the network helps to strengthen and raise the profile of gender studies research and education.

The Gender Research Group at Malmö University brings together staff and researchers who work with or are interested in gender studies perspectives. The Council serves as a platform for collaboration, where research and education come together to deepen our understanding of gender in society. The network is led by a steering group comprising representatives from all faculties and a doctoral student representative. Together, they work to promote new collaborations, develop long-term research environments and disseminate knowledge about the significance of gender studies in research and societal development.
