Gent Ymeri has conducted research into how digital technology can be used to measure the symptoms of Parkinson’s disease in patients’ homes.

Mato Bošnjak has conducted research into the Yugoslav state’s management and organisation of labour migration.

Marie Nordström has conducted research into the factors underlying good oral health among young adults in socio-economically disadvantaged circumstances.

Jenni Engstedt

Jenni Engstedt has conducted research into how fat-based drug reservoirs form and behave in water.

What happens when lipids meet water? Some lipids contain both water-loving and water-repelling parts, causing them to spontaneously organise into different structures. In my thesis, I investigated how injectable lipid mixtures take up water, swell and reorganise, and how hydration affects both the structures that form and their distribution within the depot over time.

Sara Gottschalk

Sara Gottschalk has conducted research on how design can contribute to a just and sustainable urban transition.

I will present my long-term engagement with the urban development project Sege Park in Malmö, and use this case to discuss aspects such as controversies, distributed design, alignment and thickening. I will then turn to the study circle I conducted with newly arrived residents in Sege Park, as a “seed for change” for fostering stewardship. I will share thoughts on how small, situated acts might become consequential beyond the moment in which they occur, and how design might open possibilities for longer-term collective action.
