We are kicking off Open Access Week with a presentation on the current state of open access publishing at Malmö University. This year's theme is “The Cost of Knowledge,” and we will explore exactly what this means for our university's research community.  

Librarians from Malmö University Library will discuss the open publishing landscape and provide an overview of how the university’s researchers publish their work.    

Three researchers will participate in a conversation regarding their experiences of editorial work at open access journals:

  • Rathi Ramji (Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Health and Society), Editorial Board Member at BMC Public Health. 
  • Anna Wärnsby (Associate Professor at the Department of Culture, Languages and Media) from Educare.
  • Magdalena Ulceluşe (Assistant Professor in International Migration and Ethnic Relations) from Current Issues in Migration Research.
