The Biofilms Research Centre for Biointerfaces invites you to the 21st Annual Workshop, to be held on Wednesday 21 October 2026 in Malmö.

This full-day workshop brings together scientists, students, clinicians, and industry representatives to discuss current research and emerging applications in noninvasive diagnostics for health and disease monitoring. The program includes invited speakers, short presentations, poster sessions, and opportunities for informal discussion and networking.

The workshop highlights recent advances in noninvasive diagnostics, spanning predictive and preventive healthcare, biomarker discovery, biomarker sensing and novel analytical platforms, biological barriers as sources of biomarkers, and translation to clinical and industrial use. It provides a forum for interdisciplinary exchange and collaboration among researchers and industry representatives interested in noninvasive diagnostics at the interface of biology, chemistry, medicine, and technology.

The workshop is free of charge for all participants, and thus is limited to 150 participants.
