Presentation

I am a doctoral student at the Faculty of Odontology with a particular interest in endodontics and prosthodontics. My current research project is a nationwide register-based study investigating long-term tooth survival following root canal treatment and crown therapy in adults in Sweden. The project also includes analyses of dentists’ decision-making processes when choosing a restorative strategy, as well as health economic aspects. The research findings are expected to contribute to more evidence-based and cost-effective clinical decision-making in restorative dentistry, as well as to provide a basis for the development of clinical guidelines, training initiatives and resource allocation.
