Welcome to g27!

Manifesting that feminist and Gender Studies scholars, activists, artists, and practitioners have built and continue to build platforms for critical knowledge production within and beyond academia, the g27 conference foregrounds the presence of radically feminist, queer, crip, anticolonial, indigenous, trans, and antiracist scholarship and praxis, here and now. 

About g-27

The g-conferences are Sweden’s national arena for research in Gender Studies and gender research in other disciplines. g27 will be the 7th g-conference. The main purpose of the g-conferences is to present research, meet, and collectively develop the interdisciplinary field of gender research. They bring together gender researchers from different disciplines and participants from many arenas, including the public and private sectors, civil society organisations and activists. The conference travels between different universities to highlight the various environments and directions of gender research in Sweden. 

Organisers

The 7th g-conference is organised jointly by the Division of Gender Studies at Lund University and the Gender Collegium at Malmö University and takes place in both Lund and Malmö 9–11 November. We will be in Lund during the first 2 days and then have the conference party and day 3 in Malmö.
