My research focuses on learning in visual art practice within higher education. With a background as a glass artist (MFA, Konstfack 1988) I received my Ph.D. in Education in 2008 at Lund University, Sweden. My research interests include artistic working and learning processes, knowledge philosophy, multimodality, artistic method and methodology. I am the contact person for and part of the research environment Aesthetic Forms of Knowledge (ESK) at the department of Culture, Language & Media, Malmö university.
