Senior Lecturer in Visual Communication and program manager for the bachelor program Visual Communication. Dissertation in film studies at Lund University with the dissertation Hellraiser: on Clive Barker's film (Ellerströms, 2005) where horror film is studied based on questions about genre, body, family, sexuality, monsters, and visual language. Her research is about the frightening in various media expressions with emphasis on moving images. She teaches in the program Visual Communication with a special interest in academic writing, cultural studies, representation theory, and gender issues as well as supervision of projects and essays.
