Associate professor. Senior consultant and specialist degree in Prosthodontics. A substantial part of my research has focused on ceramic materials for prosthetic rehabilitation. I have conducted laboratory-based research on framework design, material selection, cements, and cementation techniques. In parallel, I have led clinical studies demonstrating that zirconia can serve as a predictable option for fixed prosthetic restorations on both natural teeth and dental implants. Our research has contributed to an increased understanding of how restoration design, dimensions, surface treatment, and cementation protocols influence fracture resistance, fit, and retention, all of which are critical factors for the long-term performance and success of prosthetic restorations.
