Presentation

I am a postdoctoral researcher working within pharmaceutical sciences and skin research, with a focus on non‑invasive methods to study skin barrier function and molecular changes in skin disease. My work centres on the use of tape stripping for sampling the skin and on analysing biomarkers such as metabolites and enzymes related to skin condition and treatment response.

I am involved in several research projects based on clinical studies of dry and inflamed skin, including studies in people with diabetes and inflammatory skin diseases. My tasks include laboratory work related to sample preparation and analysis, development and optimisation of analytical and bioanalytical assays, and statistical analysis and visualisation of data.

I also work with the development of rapid assays to measure enzymatic activity directly from skin samples, as well as with studies of topical formulations and biomaterial‑based systems for biomarker extraction. My role combines experimental work, data analysis and collaboration with researchers, clinicians and industry partners.
