Our Research

The research theme brings together research that explores the interconnections between sexual violence, sexual and reproductive health, and norms surrounding gender, sex, and sexuality. A recurring theme across this research is vulnerability and exposure to harm. Our studies examine issues ranging from masculinity norms and questions of sexuality, intimacy, and identity to the prevalence, experiences, and consequences of sexual violence, as well as professional responses, prevention efforts, and treatment interventions.
