Internships

An internship can open doors to the job market and provide valuable experience in your field of study. If you are considering an optional internship course, you can get help and advice on how to apply for an internship.

Activate MFA

In order to protect your data, you will need to verify your identity using an app. Follow the step-by-step guide to set up MFA. MFA is required to log in to Canvas and TimeEdit.

Take-home exams and written assignments

Take-home exams are a common method of examination used at the University. You work on your exam text individually, often over a slightly longer period of time. Complete your written assignment in three stages.

Book a group room at the Library

There are 19 group room at the Orkanen Library. These can be booked for group work, for digital meetings or to write exams. You can tell by the booking system how many students each room will take.

AI produces stereotypical and anachronistic images when portraying the past

Can AI help us understand the past – or does it project a hallucination of history? A research project tested how an image model visualises the year 1936: the results are stereotypical, anachronistic and shaped by today's digital image flows.
