Henrika Kangas is a Research Assistant in the research environment Studies in Housing and Welfare (SBV) at the Department of Urban Studies. Her research examines how access to housing is shaped by political, economic and technological transformations, with a particular focus on rental housing markets. She is especially interested in the conditions that structure access to housing and long-term housing security, including questions of housing provision, financialisation and platformisation.

Henrika serves as coordinator of the Housing and Welfare Research Network. She holds a BSc in Urban and Regional Planning from Stockholm University and an MSc in Urban Studies from Malmö University.
