Presentation
Pål Brunnström is Doctor in History and currently working in a project on policies and practices of migration and integration in cities and municipalities 1945-1970. He has written a dissertation on cultural practices of class and gender among capital owners at the beginning of the 20th century, “Owners and capital. Class and gender among capital owners in Sweden 1918-1939”. He has also written and lectured on labour movement history, on Malmö history and on migration history. He is a research fellow at the Institute for studies in Malmö’s history (IMH), and also connected to the Institute for Urban Research. Pål is the editor of an anthology on Malmö's LGTBQIA+ history, produced in collaboration with activists and organisations i Malmö's LGTBQIA+ community.
