Project description

The research project investigates how people's everyday relationships with the sky and weather can shape their feelings of belonging, home, and the future. By focusing on atmospheric phenomena, the study explores how shared attention can help individuals express complex thoughts and emotions regarding environmental changes, migration, and safety.

Through collaborative activities such as Cloudwalks, Kite Making, and Storytelling, the researcher engages adults with migration experiences, environmental professionals like meteorologists, and the general public. Ultimately, the project aims to develop accessible, creative methods and co-design activities that educators, designers, and partner organizations can use to spark meaningful conversations about climate and eco-social transitions.
