Our Research

Malmö University Comics Hub (MUCH) is a platform that gathers, presents and discusses current research on comics and creates resources for such research. MUCH organises conferences, publishes research, participates in academic networks on comics and creates collaborative projects within and outside academia. MUCH was initiated in 2017 and is based on the strong infrastructure around comics that exists in Malmö – also called "The City of Comics ". An important part of MUCH is the freestanding comics courses, which contribute to the development of our research.
