Malmö University’s Strategy 2030 is now in place, and a joint dialogue is beginning on how the Faculty of Health and Society will work towards its implementation. The Strategy sets the overall direction for the University, with a focus on community and place, education, and research and doctoral education. The next step is to develop this framework collaboratively together with the faculty’s staff and students.

At faculty level, work will commence on the formulation of strategic priorities aligned with Malmö University’s Strategy, with the aim of finalising them by the end of the year. All staff members, doctoral students and students are invited to contribute to the discussion through thematic workshops or by submitting reflections, ideas and questions via the digital mailbox (see below). Participation is possible in one or more workshops, depending on individual preference.

The Faculty Board has appointed a working group comprising representatives of faculty management, staff and students to support the process and to ensure that the work is characterised by participation, transparency and collegial dialogue. Information about the progress of the work will be shared on this page on an ongoing basis.

We encourage all members of the faculty to engage in this process and to contribute to the development of our shared strategic priorities for 2026–2030.
