The Department of School Development and Leadership offers programmes and courses on special needs education, educational leadership and school development. We also offer teacher training for those who already have higher education credits or vocational training. The department's research is also conducted within the framework of special needs education, school development, learning and leadership. The department collaborates with both schools and short-term care homes in the Malmo area through the Naktergalen network.

The research is closely linked to the department’s educational programmes and places knowledge, society, and the human being at its centre.
