Educational leadership and school development
The department also offers courses in the field of educational leadership and school development.
Supplementary training
We also offer teacher training for those who already have higher education credits or vocational training.
Research at School Development and Leadership
The Department of School Development and Leadership conducts research into the civic role of schools, primarily focused on learning, school development and professional leadership.
Primary and lower-secondary school learning environments
The department is involved in the project An Inclusive Primary and Lower-secondary School, a three-year project looking at the conditions for all pupils to be afforded the opportunity to obtain similar knowledge without ignoring their inherent differences.
Research Platform for Education and Special Education (RePESE)
The focus of the research is formation, education and innovative learning processes in order to give present and future citizens of the society the prerequisites and abilities to meet and solve contemporary and future societal challenges. The specific knowledge contribution consists of results that can be interpreted, understood and used to contribute to social development by giving citizens the necessary conditions.
