Seminar with Alessandra Di Pisa and Robert Stasinski

AI is profoundly reshaping our contemporary world, not merely as a technological advancement, but as a force that fundamentally transforms social structures, values, and culture. This technology opens entirely new possibilities within creative and technical fields, redefining how we create, communicate, and solve complex problems. At the same time, these developments confront us with questions of ethics, sustainability, and humanity’s role in a world increasingly shaped by automation and machine learning.

The transdisciplinary research project Technoecology – Performing Computation and Aesthetic Sensibility proposes an alternative vision for AI and robotics. Through artistic methods and experiments with materials, sculptural forms, and robotics, we aim to explore how AI can be manifested and understood—not merely as a tool for humans, but as part of a larger ecological and cultural context.

The artist duo DiPisaStasinski focuses on transdisciplinary artistic research. Alessandra is an associate professor and Robert a lecturer at Linköping university.
