Recruitment process timeline

  • The positions will be advertised internationally in spring 2026.
  • The deadline for applications is during the first quarter.
  • The planned start date is September 2026.

Application and initial selection

  • After the application deadline, an initial selection is made.
  • Only candidates who meet the basic requirements will proceed in the process.

Expert review

  • At least two external experts will assess your application, your qualifications and your teaching experience.
  • The assessment is objective and based on the experts' competence in the field, and is used as a basis for the next step.

Interview and pedagogical assessment

  • Candidates who proceed will be invited to an interview.
  • You may also be asked to give a trial lecture or complete a pedagogical work sample.
  • References will be contacted to supplement the assessment.

Recommendation

  • The Teacher Appointment Committee makes an overall assessment of all the information and recommends the candidate who is considered most qualified.

Decision on appointment

  • The dean makes the final decision on appointment based on the committee's recommendation.

Tips for job applicants

  • Clearly show your research merits, publications and teaching experience.
  • Be prepared to present your teaching skills in a trial lecture or work sample.
  • Keep in mind that references may be contacted, so choose people who can provide a relevant picture of your competence.
