Malmö University is leading the International Talent Stay Malmö initiative. A one‑year project with the purpose to strengthen international students’ connection to working life, expand opportunities for collaboration between the university and regional actors, and enhance students’ learning through engagement with companies and organisations in Skåne.

An initiative to contribute to talent retention in Skåne

The initiative provides students with opportunities that complement their academic studies by offering applied perspectives and contact with external partners. During the year, a selection of Malmö University's international master's students will be offered the opportunity to take part in a series of voluntary activities, including:

  • thematic workshops,
  • company meet‑ups,
  • innovation sessions, and
  • networking events.

Project information

  • International Talent Stay Skåne is a one year initiative funded by Region Skåne and conducted in collaboration with Media Evolution, the City of Malmö, Studentstaden Malmö and Drivhuset Malmö. A long‑term aim for the project is to contribute to talent retention in Skåne.
