Teaching Placement

As an exchange student at Malmö University, you may apply for a teaching placement in local schools or pre-schools. The placement gives you hands-on experience in the Swedish or an international school system, where you will work alongside qualified teachers, contribute to classroom activities, and reflect on pedagogical practices. This opportunity is designed to strengthen your teaching skills and broaden your international perspective on education.

• There are different types of teaching placement and the possibility to only observe.
• Intervals for placement are often 2 weeks, 6 weeks and 12 weeks.
• The placement is created on a base-to-base inquiry. 

Biomedicine Placement

Exchange students in Biomedicine may have the opportunity to take part in placements within research or laboratory environments at Malmö University. These placements are limited and primarily offered to students coming through our BioNord network. When available, students are introduced to ongoing projects, apply laboratory techniques, and collaborate with experienced researchers. Such placements can provide valuable practical experience, insight into current biomedical research, and preparation for future academic or professional pathways in the life sciences.

Please note that you must be nominated by your home university to be eligible for this type of placement.
