Art historian with a flair for technology, online teaching and GAI

I originally trained as an art historian, and although it may sound strange, my education has been an invaluable help when it came to understanding how IT programs work and how they can be used in teaching, so that the learning outcome for students remains high.

At MAU, I work on integrating AI into teaching academic writing, which has been a focus area for many years. Writing is the technology of thought and a central way of learning, but teaching and assessment must change with the advent of GAI, so that students continue to learn, and we as teachers can assess what students have learned.

For almost 20 years, I have worked in higher education and have always been concerned with building bridges between education and practice. Among other things, I have taught sustainable innovation and project management, where I established collaboration with companies, NGOs and public institutions, so that my students could work on issues that corresponded to future work tasks.
