Project description

The doctoral project aims to shed light on the interaction between parents of children entitled to support under the LSS and the various actors within the welfare system. The study examines how parents navigate a complex network of support services, as well as the challenges and structural barriers they encounter.

The focus is on parents’ experiences, particularly in relation to their children’s rights and access to support measures. By exploring parents’ experiences of navigating the complex bureaucratic systems surrounding society’s support and service provisions, the study seeks to contribute to a deeper understanding of how the Swedish welfare system functions in practice.
