Kids in Action 2.0

Citizen Health now hosts and coordinates the Kids in Action Network under the banner KIA 2.0.

Guided by values of respect, listening, and shared learning, Kids in Action 2.0 supports projects, builds resources, and connects people committed to ethical and collaborative work with children.

Through its long-standing engagement in participatory health research and international networks such as CARN and ICPHR, Citizen Health provides a strong foundation for supporting this next phase of the initiative.

Background

Kids in Action was originally founded in Australia at Melbourne University under the leadership of Professor Lisa Gibbs. What began as a pioneering initiative to elevate children’s participation in research has since grown into a global movement. Today, the network continues to evolve, bringing together researchers, practitioners, and communities who believe in children’s capabilities and their right to shape the world around them.
