Presentation
Defne Kadioglu is a postdoctoral researcher at Malmö University’s Institute for Urban Research. She has previously been a visiting guest researcher at Lund University Centre for Middle Eastern Studies, a Stiftung Mercator-Istanbul Policy Center research fellow and has lectured at various Universities in Turkey. She holds a PhD from Bogazici University in Istanbul and is particularly interested in the revalorization of low-income and stigmatized neighbourhoods in Western Europe and Turkey.
