About the project
The purpose of this research project is to study how young adults (18 - 29 years) reason about their sexual practices and relationships at a time when sexually transmitted infections are becoming increasingly resistant to antibiotics. The research project will contribute with knowledge about young adults' risky or opportunistic sexual practices in relation to an emerging problem: antibiotic-resistant sexually transmitted infections. This knowledge can be valuable in developing health promotion and prevention work in the face of the societal challenge that antibiotic resistance has become.
