Being young and living with IBD – UNITA
The research platform is an interdisciplinary research environment on being young and living with inflammatory bowel disease - from a national perspective.
About the research platform
Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is a chronic disease that has a significant impact on the health of young people. It not only causes physical stress but also affects mental and sexual health. The research focuses on young people aged 18-35 with IBD and their health in a national context and with an interprofessional perspective.
This platform aims to promote more equitable health by addressing the problems from different perspectives and through national collaboration. By increasing knowledge and understanding, we aim to mitigate the negative impact on the physical, mental and sexual health of young people.
