The VIP programme is an opportunity for students to engage in ongoing research at Malmö University, test their knowledge and contribute what they have learned in a real research team. They often gain knowledge and skills that are valuable for their studies.

VIP provide a multi-year, multidisciplinary approach to learning that is project-based, innovative, and research-active. It is an opportunity to practice professional skills while making real-world contributions in a research context.

Students get to collaborate with other students and researchers in teams, practice planning and discuss the research process. Practice generic research skills and theoretical skills within the research field of the team. The programme fosters leadership and mentorship, with faculty and students guiding teams, experienced students mentoring newcomers, and students stepping into leadership roles as others graduate.
