About the course

The aim of the course is to provide the students with theories, analytical tools, and practical methods to understand the specific characteristics, key processes and principles of service management and innovation in the context of the real estate sector. Services play a central role in the world economy and in the real estate sector, which is facing fundamental change driven by digital transformation and sustainable innovation. The course has a customer-oriented approach to value creation - a service perspective, and covers different concepts and models, such as service logic, service design and service innovation. In the course, cases, real-world examples, and practices form a foundation for developing a deeper understanding and critical thinking. Furthermore, the course introduces and discusses research in service management and innovation in sustainable real estate management.

General entry requirements + Mathematics 3b or Mathematics 3c or Mathematics C, Civics 1b or Civics 1a1 +1a2 and English 6.

Course evaluation

Malmö University provides students who participate in, or who have completed a course, with the opportunity to express their opinions and describe their experiences of the course by completing a course evaluation administered by the University. The University will compile and summarise the results of course evaluations. The University will also inform participants of the results and any decisions relating to measures taken in response to the course evaluations. The results will be made available to the students (HF 1:14).
