Annica is an experienced nurse who has worked in the profession for over 30 years. She specialises in intensive care and is an anaesthesia nurse. She is primarily employed as a lecturer at the Department of Care Sciences at Malmö University, but also regularly works at the endoscopy unit at Skåne University Hospital in Malmö. She is affiliated with the Measures for Change research group because her research is clinically patient-oriented and usually focuses on how patient experiences after receiving care can best be reliably measured. Throughout her doctoral project, she had the privilege of collaborating with patients and clinical practices. She is also a member of Colonoscopy Research Sweden, a group of Swedish researchers working in the field of colorectal endoscopy whose main purpose is to conduct and support clinical colorectal endoscopy research. Annica teaches quality and quality improvement knowledge at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
