Presentation

I am a project researcher working across Learning and Society (LS) and Global Poltical Studies (GPS). In addition, I am also the Statistics Support Officer through the Core Facility here at MAU. I hold a Ph.D in International Migration and Ethnic Relations (IMER) from Malmö University. My Ph.D research focused on how individuals construct and enact boundaries around the perception of 'Swedishness' as an ethnic and national identity, partially through visual markers of belongingness like skin color or racial appraisals. My research interests include an interdisciplinary approach to migration studies through social psychological theoretical frameworks as well as identity, belongingness, and in/out group relations, race, racialization, and ethnicity.
