Presentation
I have a nursing background and hold a Master's degree in Medical Science. With some experience working as a research assistant on end-of-life issues and being involved in elderly care, I developed a keen interest in combining research with practical applications to ultimately improve the quality of care and patient outcomes, particularly in palliative care. As a PhD student in the Department of Care Science, my ongoing doctoral thesis focuses on nurse managers' competencies in palliative care within municipal care settings, aiming to investigate the knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors pocessed by nurse managers to effectively lead and support nurses in providing high-quality palliative care to patients.
