Presentation

I am a doctoral student at the Department of Care Science with a background as a nutritionist. I hold a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in Food and Nutrition science, with my bachelor’s focused on health promotion. With a health-promoting approach, I apply my expertise in the interplay between nutrition, health, environment, and individuals’ well-being.

My PhD project focuses on how diet as an intervention affects physical activity, quality of life, and psychosexual health in young people with inflammatory bowel disease, which encompasses both Crohns disease and ulcerative colitis.
