I work as a coordinator for equal opportunities for students. The assignment is based on the Discrimination Act and consists of two parts. The first is to deal with incidents that could constitute harassment, and the second is preventive and promotional work.

This is what I do: * Provide support to students who feel they have been treated badly
* Provide consultations to teachers and department heads on student matters * Plan and implement initiatives for student health and against discrimination, such as workshops and presentations on equal opportunities or on working in groups * Contribute to developing Malmö University's systematic work on equal opportunities for students * Facilitate meetings and workshops based on participatory meeting methods

I have had many assignments within the university world – as an administrator, teacher, researcher, director of studies, manager, project manager – and I use all my previous experience in my role as coordinator. This is my most enjoyable job so far.
