Research focuses on developing a systematic and structured approach to the design, evolution and scaling process of ML/DL models. The intention is to enable not only expert data scientists to operate more effectively but also less-experienced data scientists, software engineers with less data science expertise and even non-experts to effectively approach the design and evolution of ML/DL models.

The research is conducted as a multi-case study research within the context of the Software Center. Software Center is a collaboration between fourteen companies in the embedded system domain and five Swedish universities with the mission to significantly improve the digitalization capability of the European software-intensive industry.
