The national doctoral school DACHE aims to strengthen research capacity and research-based education within healthcare professional programmes. The school supports the integration of scientific, methodological, and academic teaching skills.

Three overarching goals

  • Secure future faculty competence
  • Build a sustainable structure for academic expertise
  • Promote collaborative, implementation-oriented research

Organisation and partnership

DACHE is a partnership between six universities in the network Lärosäte Syd, coordinated by Malmö University and the Department of Care Science. Lärosäte Syd comprises Malmö University, Lund Universit, Kristianstad University, Blekinge Institute of Technology, Linnaeus University and Halmstad University.

Doctoral students and international exchange

The doctoral school brings together twelve doctoral students in a shared, high-profile research environment. Two senior international researchers are part of an advisory group and strengthen international exchange through their expertise in methodology and subject areas, as well as through networking opportunities for doctoral students.
