About the project
“From Compliance to Competitiveness: Swedish Organizations and CSRD’s Social Sustainability Mandates,” aims to study how Swedish private organizations adapt to the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), effective in Sweden from 2025.
The project will create a Corporate Sustainability Reporting (CSR) database to enhance Swedish industry’s capability, competitiveness, and trustworthiness in social sustainability efforts. The project will emphasize diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), addressing the need for Swedish industries to tackle unequal employment opportunities, wages, and job roles among diverse demographic groups.
It will analyze CSR reports from Swedish companies with over 250 employees, focusing on CSRD S1 disclosure requirements and Global Reporting Initiative indicators.
